About Patricia E. LaTaille

Patty LaTaille served as the Executive/Program Director and as the Lead Facilitator and Trainer for Victim-Offender conferencing in Full Circle Restorative Justice from 2006- 2019. She practices as a Professional Mediator with Keeping The Peace, LLC and

serves as the Humanizing Justice Systems and  Social Media Lead on the Cornerstone Leadership Council for The Peace Alliance. Patty holds a graduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her background is in Social Services and Communications in various venues. Her experience as a Rotary Peace Fellow, in Bangkok, Thailand in 2015, was a pivotal point in her career as an International Peace Professional.

Patty was employed by IBM in Boulder, Colorado, as a Communications Architect. At the same time, she started Angel of the Animals, a pet sitting service that served Boulder and currently Salida, CO. She has a number of published works and photos in corporate and media publications, regional newspapers and magazines, and in Chicken Soup for the Working Woman’s Soul.

Patty enjoys spending active time outdoors and with young people. In prior years, she worked and played at being a ski/snowboard instructor and a white water river guide. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in working with high-‐risk adolescents, in addition to founding and managing a number of sustainable youth programs.

Patty is an international speaker on methods of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) & Restorative Justice. She is an “animal and nature person” and the author of the book “Paws 4 Peace: Enhancing Restorative Practices with Therapy Dogs”. She is currently working on her children’s book – “No Bears for Patty”.

Patty was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and has lived across the United States and in Europe, Mexico, and Thailand. She continues to travel extensively while living in Portugal and the Colorado mountains. You can find her on FB, Instagram, Linked In, and at patty.nvc@gmail.com.
