Colorado native, Jim Solo, loves the outdoor life. His joyous pastimes include fishing, hunting, whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, and golf. Before a skiing injury, Jim also spent many days kayaking and downhill skiing. He is an avid spectator of football, basketball, and golf.
After college, Jim spent two years teaching high school science in Colorado Springs. Later, he was a science teacher and sports coach in Basalt, a small town located between Aspen and Glenwood Springs in Colorado.
Jim loved teaching but soon realized the salary fell short of the local cost of living expenses and his life desires. He resigned from teaching and began a new career as a real estate broker. He experienced financial success and rich interactions with his clients. All that done, Jim recognized selling real estate was not his life’s calling.
Jim had a true ‘wake-up call’ while attending a self-improvement seminar in Denver. During that week, Jesus showed him in a vision how to break through the many ‘walls’ confronting humanity.
The experience touched him so greatly he took a sabbatical from his profitable real estate business. Within months of taking the sabbatical, spiritual revelations led him to begin the true calling of his life.
He followed his guidance to serve others as a spiritual counselor, teacher, energy healer, and facilitator of spiritual healing seminars, which he continues to this day and plans well into his old age.
A later personal vision revealed to him the importance of telling stories through writing and oral sharing of stories in an enlightened way. This revelation led to the formation of Write With Light Publications, LLC.
As founder of Write With Light Publications, Jim encourages one and all to tell their story of positive and reflective life experience with their own voice, however, it may speak.
Write With Light Publications, LLC invites all who wish to share their stories in ways that may have a positive and impactful influence on humanity. The base of this organization is love, laughter, and revelation of truth.
Jim has four grown children and two grandchildren who give him much joy and love, filling him with overwhelming family pride. Jim now lives in Southeastern Colorado with his best friend and spouse, Kathy, and their sweet loving cat, Silas.
